Every session is private to your group, led by qualified local instructors, with all the kit provided. Just bring the group.
We've been running stag and hen activities from Croyde for over 7 years, and coasteering at Baggy Point is the one most groups choose. Expect cliff jumps, sea caves, gullies to swim through and plenty of encouraging (and heckling) each other along the way.

Coasteering is scrambling, swimming and jumping your way along the coastline, and it's made for groups. Everyone gets to push themselves, nobody gets left behind, and the stories last a lot longer than the hangover.
Our coasteering sessions in North Devon run from Baggy Point, just outside Croyde:
- Around 2.5 hours on the water, including a safety briefing and kit fitting
- Private sessions for groups of 6 or more, so it's just your group and your guides
- Wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids provided
- Jumps for every level. Our guides adapt the route, so the bride or groom-to-be can go big while others take it steady
- No experience needed. You just need to be able to swim 50m and be confident in the water

Not everyone in the group wants to jump off a cliff, and that's fine. We also run:
- Surf lessons at Croyde Bay. A great laugh for complete beginners, with qualified instructors coaching the whole group.
- Stand up paddleboarding on the River Torridge. A calmer option, ideal for a hen party that wants something more relaxed.
- Rock climbing and abseiling at Baggy Point or the Valley of Rocks, for groups who want a different kind of challenge.

The best time for coasteering and surfing is March to October, and summer weekends book up early, so it's worth getting your date in as soon as you can.

Safety First
All of the Coastline Sports instructors have an intimate knowledge of the North Devon area, weather patterns and tide characteristics to ensure that you are kept completely safe while having the time of your life!
Whether you are coasteering, climbing, surfing or out on a SUP we will provide you with all of the appropriate equipment – just bring yourselves and let us do the rest!
Our instructors hold the necessary qualifications for the activity you are doing. All instructors involved with water based activities are qualified Beach Life Guards, they also hold additional qualifications for the activity they are instructing. Our climbing instructors also have the Rock Climbing Instructor Award.
We are also registered with the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA). As part of our AALA registration we are fully inspected every 2 years, this includes checking our safety record, our Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments, Training Records and Safety Equipment amongst other aspects.
